Buy a CarHere's how buying a car works through Synergy Motor Car Company: You stop in for a visit, and we talk about your driving needs. If you already know what make and model you want, great! We won't try to talk you into any other. If you're not sure, we'll go over the choices.Do you need a lot of room or not? How many miles do you drive each year? How long do you normally like to keep a car? Do you want to pull a trailer or camper? There are lots of factors that make your particular needs unique. Once we've established the general type of vehicle you want, we can get down to specifics of make and model (and year, if you're thinking about a used car). New cars:We have detailed information about all the cars on the market, and can help you decide which ones would best meet your needs and wants. Unlike a traditional franchise auto dealer, we have no interest in pushing you toward a particular brand.To help you finalize your decision, we can arrange test drives for you, usually here at our location. In the best case scenario, all the cars you're interested in would be dropped off here on the same day for you to drive one after the other. If that's not possible, we can set up an appointment with a manufacturer's fleet rep at the dealership where he has his office and you can test drive the car there. However, you wouldn't have to go through the usual lengthy process of dealing with the sales department before you get to drive it. When buying your new car through us, you'll be eligible for the same manufacturer's incentives you could get through a franchise dealer, whether it be extended warrantees, rebates, or low-interest financing. As for the price, we often can save you money because, as an organization that represents thousands of customers, we have a bit more clout than an individual buyer. If you'd like us to, we can help you obtain financing or help you decide whether leasing would be a better way to go. Used Cars:If you're interested in a used car, we can also help you decide among the makes, models, and years (although most used-car buyers already have a pretty good idea of what they want). We work with locator services all over the country to help find you just the right car.For example, some of our customers want a car that has never been exposed to road salt. Some want a model that happens to be rare in this market, and therefore the price tends to be high. However, in other parts of the country there may be a lot more of them available, with consequently a better price. We do our homework on any used car you buy. We'll check to see what Consumer Reports says about that model's repair history. We'll also obtain a Carfax report giving the car's individual history. Most of the auction houses we deal with provide inspections of their vehicles, and we'll also send them out to an independent shop to make sure they're in good shape and the fluids are topped up. We provide powertrain warrantees based on the year and mileage. We also have available extended bumper-to-bumper warrantees from GM Corporation that can go as high as six years and 100,000 miles. These GMAC warranties cover such things as seals and gaskets that are not included in many other companies' warranties. There are times when, if you don't need a vehicle right away, it can be to your advantage to wait just a few months before buying. We can advise you on these things and help you save money.
